Appearances can be deceiving. Top models, movie stars, singers and even TV anchors appear to be flawless with their tans, perfect figures and salon hair, though this look is not effortless. It takes a lot of work to look so good.

Even in the glamorous world of the rich and famous, for most people, physical work-outs and a balanced diet are required to stay trim.
Togetherwith a healthful way of life consisting of a good diet and exercise, the majority of celebrities use slimming tablets to increase their results, and keep the pounds off.

The fickle Hollywood way dictates that if a celebrity doesn’t look correct then they lose contracts and get less coverage, falling out of the public eye.

For example Claudia Schiffer is not on a diet, despite having tried many, she says that they mess around with her metabolic rate and she has tried nothing better than just sticking to 3 square meals daily. Trying not to resort to snack while eating meals, she stocked the meals with fruits and vegetables which are easily digested by the body. Occasionally, though, she can’t resist the urge and indulges in a small amount of off-limits food, like chocolate. It’s important, however, to stay in control and don’t eat an entire container of the sweet stuff.

Geri Halliwell’s diet comprises of 3 healthy meals a day which include lots of fresh fruit and veg. Geri began her sensible eating diet after a long pattern of obsessive over exercising combined with many failed trendy diets. Even celebrities are preferring to have curvy figures over the once popular overly thin look.

TV presenter Claire Sweeney was successful with the same basic idea and the Weight Watchers diet chosen by her allowed her to eat foods that she likes. The diets she had tried had not worked out for her (she couldn’t stick to the detox plan, she got a kidney infection from the Atkins diet, etc.). However, Weight Watchers succeeded where the others failed and she’s still following the plan.

Until her recent pregnancy, actress Gwyneth Paltrow had been on a macrobiotic diet plan for years - meat, eggs, dairy products and caffeine were off limits. For Gwyneth Paltrow, a daughter named Apple does more than keep the doctor away. Moving away from the super-strict eating regime that kept her rail thin, while still opting to eat foods that provide energy, is attributable directly to Apple’s birth, according to the actress.

The celebrities are also finding that they don’t have to resort to intense diets - Now with the help of effective, and often natural fat burning pills they can stay in shape, and still live their lives usually. The gaunt look is now becoming unfashionable, it appears, as an increasing number of celebrities discover that denial of the body’s needs is not the way to success, or a satisfying and beautiful way to live.
